RedTail Golf Center
For those who want to play 18 holes on hilly terrain, RedTail Golf Center has been a popular choice for those who want to do so, with some locals calling it “the most beautiful course in Oregon.” The city purchased this old farm-turned golf course as an alternative to building another West Hills Course just outside Portland.
RedTail Golf Center is the perfect place for those who want to keep their game up with some challenging golf in Beaverton, OR.
Situated at 8200 SW Scholls Ferry Rd, Beaverton, OR 97008, United States, the RedTail Golf Center is a stunning, 18-hole course that was designed by the Park Bureau and landscape architect. Construction began on this amazing facility in 1966 but wasn’t available for play until 1968.
The people at PP & R had the vision to turn this into an award-winning, 7,100-yard championship golf course. They hired John Zoller, who finished his construction on this 7100-yard championship course when it re-opened to public use back in 1999, and since then, thousands of people have had access to this beautiful facility.
The beautiful Red Tail Golf Course used to be only open during daylight hours, but today it’s an all-hours outdoor course and driving range, thanks in part because some years later, the lighting system was upgraded.
The course is known for its beautiful environment and challenging layout. RedTail Golf Course was named after the nesting red-tailed hawks that live in this area, which gives it an extra special touch.
